O Jerusalem
05:34
|
|||
I came to share what I know
To understand the broken and poor
Let my cup fills your’s up
My light endures forever
O Jerusalem how often I would gather you but you would not come
All the day long I have stretched forth my hands
Mercy and love intertwined
Reach out and grab my hands
And become my sheep again
Come back and turn away
From a life of dread and decay
Twisting old words and dreading the new
I have come, arms open, to you
O Jerusalem
All the day long I have stretched forth my hands
Mercy and love intertwined
Reach out and grab my hands
And become my sheep again
O Jerusalem how often I would gather you but you would not come

As the Lepers

|

We are cast out by all
As the Lepers
A dying body without a cure
A hand reaches out to heal us too

The Weathered Pass
07:34
|
|||
Life. So clean and innocent
From the start
Now it is time
To look ahead
Once I am on my own
The pass not as clean
Black and White turning into gray
Decisions eroding my pass
Why do I cling to things
That only fill for a moment
And leave me wanting more?
I want more.
The pass at first started so clear
Lines clearly defined
The more I walk along the more I see
That the beauty has been weathered away
I walked along this path I built myself
Only to view coarseness of past mistakes
Is this who I wish to be?
I make it to the end of the pass
The ending, just as beautiful as the beginning
All my past mistakes, given up
I look through the gate, unwavering
Never again looking back
